So busy, in fact, that I almost didn’t have time to pop this little entry on you unsuspecting folk.

One quick question for general discussion, and I’ll let you go:

When the muslims all trigger at the same time, as insinuated by the closing phrase in ahmadimjac’s “letter” to Prsident Bush, what will the lefties do? Will they insist we listen to what they say, or will they wish more of us were saying “hand me another clip, bro…”?

Praise the Lord, and pass the ammunition…

First, go read this, then come back here. Ready? I had the idea from the opening sentences of the (translated) letter that Iran’s President was going to declare war on the US. Now, all you liberals, go ahead and surf on to the next blog ‘cause I know you’re not going to want to hear the next bit:

Bush needs to preemptively strike. Now. I don’t know how much more clearly it needs to be stated that Iran is bent on waging a war with the US, and, as a bonus for them, I am sure they will claim that Israel would be “tragically in the way” when Iran strikes.

For crying out loud, can we please do something this time without being vilified as a “thug” or a “cowboy” out to boost ratings?

My prayers are with the men and the women in the armed forces who will be taking the brunt of this next blow. May God bless you all, and may He also protect those of us in the rear.

Man, the Marines are too stringent about the age thing.

OK, so it’s just the Motor Vehicle Department. I made the mistake of buying a kit-built trailer from my toy stor – er, I mean, Harbor Freight, built it, and figured I would comply with the laws of the State of Arizona by actually registering it. No, wait – it gets better!

I actually called the MVD to find out what I needed to do in order to register my trailer. Silly me, I thought they would want to make sure I didn’t waste my time with multiple trips and frustrating waits. When I called, I specified that I had bought a trailer kit, built it, and wanted to register it. I explained that it was a folding trailer, about 4 by 8, and that it was just a frame with wheels under it. I was told to get a three day registration from online, and take it and the trailer to the MVD office of my choice for an inspection and licensing. How easy can you get, right?

I arrived at the MVD, pulled into the inspection lane, and only forty five minutes later it was my turn to be inspected. The first words out of the inspector’s mouth? No, not “Good afternoon, sir. Welcome to the Motor Vehicle Department.” They were “I can’t inspect that trailer without a deck on it. NEXT!”

Oddly enough, when asked why that information was not imparted over the phone, the inspector could not be bothered with talking to me, since she had other vehicles to inspect.

So, once again, I go to the MVD this morning, trailer (with a deck on it, mind you) in tow, hoping beyond hope that I will be able to legally use my trailer for the many projects I have going on. Wish me luck!

I got the trailer registered almost without a hitch. I mean problem, since you can’t pull a trailer… without a … hitch.. heh. aHEM.

I have a regular reader. This kind of threw me for a curve. I know that if you put a blog out here, join BlogMad or Blog Explosion or Blog Soldiers, then you will have people cruising by; and if you interact with other bloggers they may find your blog interesting enough to read also. Still, the fact that this guy actually comes by every day and reads what I may or may not have posted is kinda … well, humbling.

John, I apologize. I should have been more prolific. I really don’t have any excuse for not taking ten or fifteen minutes and letting my mind pour out. It’s not like I don’t have anything stimulating my thought processes, since the active members of my blog roll get read and usually commented on everyday, but I try to avoid the impression of a complimentary circle of bloggers who just sit around, read each others’ posts, nod their heads, say “yup, yup..” and then post a link back to each other. I do try to get some newsworthy event mentioned, or at least come up with a bingo-moment statement. Sometimes, I’ll even reflect on past events in my own life.

So – I’ll try to be more on the ball. I don’t want to fall into the habit of posting on a scheduled topic on a scheduled day (not that there’s anything wrong with that; it’s just not ‘me’) but I also don’t want to disappoint the regular reader out there.
