BlogMad Comes Through!
May 1st, 2006 . by CaryIan over at BlogMad (button on the left!) replaced my credits so I am a senior again, and he put a few extra credits in for being patient and using kind words (the truth, every one of ’em!) when working through the hiccup.
I tell you what, if you don’t belong to BlogMad, you are just plain mad.
They added a bunch then took away the ones I’d gotten from surfing. I was/am pissed.
I’m still not sure what, exactly, will be the benefit of “credits.” Does that mean that my blog may appear to someone that sits there getting a 24 second snapshot of random sites?
I guess that if I “earned” a heap of credits, I could get a banner ad on someone’s blog, but is it really worth the investment of time? Why not just purchase advertising? Oh well, I’ll wait and see what happens.
You should have received a credit or two for me signing up. I figured that if I was going to try it, I may as well throw some swag in the direction of one of my fellow bloggers (well, one of my fellow bloggers that I actually like).
Well, thanks, John! I appreciate your signing up through me, and yes, there are credits involved. Ther credits you earn for surfing are used to drive traffic to your blog, and while they are only 24 second snapshots, it is stioll better than not having any visitors…
Hey Jarhead (and Cary too) – I’d suggest utillizing – http://www.sitemeter.com/ – to see how the traffic flows. I initially got here through Blogmad and found a nice place to put my feet on the coffee table. – You can make friends and get regular readers through blogmad. The majority will just surf on through but some new friends are better than no new friends…
Word Verification on this one is a little tougher Cary – You know I’m a four fingered typist…
