Red Friday – Thank You, BZ
April 17th, 2009 . by CaryI’m driving a cab today, wearing my Lightning Sharp polo (I sure seem to get a lot of wear from that one!). The flag that BZ said he was going to send arrived yesterday evening and is currently mounted on the flagpole outside my front door. This weekend is NASCAR at PIR.
Life is good.
You know, I was going to leave this alone, but as a dog lover I was hoping for one little piece of truthfulness from the Obama camp. You know, the campaign promise that if he was elected the “first dog” would be a pound puppy – a dog that needed a home, and wouldn’t be the product of some puppy mill (no matter how well placed the breeder is, let’s face it – it’s just a glorified puppy mill, with a much higher price tag). But, nooOOOooo – had to stay true to form and break that promise not only to the people of the United States but also to his own daughters.
How disappointing.
Can anyone point out a promise he has actually kept?
Bueller?
Bueller?
Chat ya later…
Thank you for stopping by, In GOD We Trust, God bless you all, don’t buy or breed cats or dogs while homeless pets die (spay, neuter & adopt a pet, one by one, until there are none), Wear Red on Fridays, and support Warriors for Innocence!
1374 and a wake up!
He has broken nearly every promise of consequence. Even Obama’s staunchest foes expected more out of him.
And you know, my rescue Irish Setters, Sammy and Dudley, we just as beautiful (if not more) than any of the others I had. My mutts Arlo & Gunther that I picked up at a rest stop on Oklahoma (1971) were great dogs. Their litter had just been dumped there. Probably not a bad idea, when I arrived people were scarffing up the cutie pies. I got the last 2.
He did promise to redistribute our hard earned income, so I guess he’s keeping that one.
Hammer – that’s what I’m sayin’.
And all these people who are now pretending to be “chocked” over what he is or is not doing – he told everyone what his plans were for this nation.
Sam – we’ve got nothing but adopted dogs. They make the best pets, I think. They know that you picked them, and it wasn’t for their papers.
John – yes, he is. I will give him that. I just wish he had chosen a different one to keep.
1. GLAD you like the flag, and thanks for the mention!
2. I’m not surprised . . .
3. CHANGE. . .
BZ
I LOVE the flag. Now, I have to find an extension for the flagpole, as it currently allows the flag to just touch the eave of the house when there is no breeze.
