Go Flag Yerself!

August 5th, 2009 . by Cary

You know I already have!

Send the following e-mail to flag@WhiteHouse.gov every time you think bad thoughts about the Obamacare bill. This will, of course, be several times a day, because if you are truly THINKING about this bill (unlike the “representatives” in congress) you will be having bad thoughts about this bill every few minutes or so.

Dear White House,

I am informing on myself. I believe that the national health care bill known as H.R. 3200: America’s Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009 is entirely in violation of my rights under the United States Constitution. I have publicly expressed this view in multiple public forums, most recently (fill in where you have done this – on your blog, in a comment section, on Facebook, Twitter, wherever – include the URL if you can).

However, if you could direct me to the Article or Amendment in the Constitution of the United States that provides the Federal government the authority to mandate health care choices for the citizens of this country, I will certainly reconsider my position and offer public apologies.

Otherwise, I must warn you that this individual (myself) will continue to speak out against the what I believe is the true intent of this in this proposed legislation.

Thank you for your time – and go Flag yourself.

I wonder if this is considered more “Right Wing Terrorism?”

The trouble with “form letters” is that the politicians ignore them. They figure that some lobbying groups is using “dumb yokels” to get their point across.

I prefer the direct approach, composed from my thoughts and heart.

Nice blog you have here. Mine if I link to it?

True, even my own “representative” ignores my emails; he claims (and has told me, in a letter) that e-mails can be easily forged.

However, if there are enough emails sent to flag@whitehouse.gov, then the poor saps who have to read through them all will eventually get tired of trying to weed through the “pissed off redneck” and “extreme right wing terrorist” ones to get to the ones that may be actually, you know, reporting something…

So does mine, but I’ll corral her at the next town hall meeting.

We are the ones reporting the truth. Sad isn’t it.

Hopefully we can flood the White House with millions of emails from all over the nation.

Thanks! I just sent the email.

I realize the “personal” touch is better, so I have written my own, too.

They will hear from me daily until they block me from their email as some sort of spam.

    Good stuff!

My thinking, Joe, is that with enough of us turning ourselves in, the poor guy who has to sift through all these entries will no longer be able to tell what’s really what, and they will give up on this silliness.

That, or realize that they aren’t going to get enough votes come September…

This is a good one Cary. You said it well. Great idea to do what they are asking, and that’s email them. BTW, good one from your congresscriter – email can easily be forged:-) People like this ‘represent’ no one.
