Tuesday Rambling
August 11th, 2009 . by CaryI don’t think I’ll write anything worth reporting myself about today.
Well, that’s all I’ve got today…
Just kidding! I can’t believe you fell for that.
The backlash against the heavy-handed “reform” of the national health care system continues. Here in Arizona, more than a few of the DemocRATic so-called “representatives” have either had their town halls inundated by We The People with a Single Voice or they have been cancelled due to the large numbers of opposing voices. Methinks they may be finally getting the message – that we don’t want the reform as outlined by Obama and his minions. We want the free market to continue taking care of itself.
Actually, come to think of it, we’d like the government to get out of the auto business, the banking business, and the money printing business too. But, hey – one thing at a time, right?
Well, dang – even this short little entry is flag worthy. I’ll be on e-mail telling on myself. Hope you have a really good day.
Chat ya later…
Thank you for stopping by, In GOD We Trust, God bless you all, don’t buy or breed cats or dogs while homeless pets die (spay, neuter & adopt a pet, one by one, until there are none), Wear Red on Fridays, and support Warriors for Innocence!
P.S. – just saw this “Thought Of The day” n the Arizona Republic: “A pessimist is a mna who looks both ways when he’s crossing a one-way street.” – Laurence J. Peter, author of “The Peter Principle” (1919-1990). Obviously, Mr. Peter never walked in down town Phoenix or he, too, would have classified himself as a pessimist! I always check both ways before crossing a one way street, and I have ever since a wrong-way driver nearly hit me a few years back. In this instance, I am proud to be labeled a “pessimist.”
P.P.S. Here’s the text of the note I sent today:

subject Snitchin’ On Myself AgainDear White House,
Once again, I am informing on myself. I believe that the national health care bill known as H.R. 3200: America’s Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009 is entirely in violation of my rights under the United States Constitution. I have publicly expressed this view in multiple public forums, most recently on my blog, located here.
However, if you could direct me to the Article or Amendment in the Constitution of the United States that provides the Federal government the authority to mandate health care choices for the citizens of this country, I will certainly reconsider my position and offer public apologies.
Otherwise, I must warn you that this individual (myself) will continue to speak out against the what I believe is the true intent of this in this proposed legislation.
Thank you for your time – and go Flag yourself.

“we’d like the government to get out of the auto business, the banking business, and the money printing business too.”
AMEN!!
BTW: Wait until you see my tomorrow’s (8/12) post. It’s all of the emails I have sent to the White House’s snitch site, a paraphrase of yours included.
And Amen.
I am honored that you would include me, even if it’s just a paraphrase! I am looking forward to it.
