Two U.S. Border Patrol Agents have been found guilty, and now face prison terms of upwards of 20 years for doing their jobs–apprehending an illegal alien at our border!
Even more outrageous, this illegal alien is suing the U.S. for $5 million for violating his civil rights!

The administration is trying it’s level best to screw everything up at once – hobbles on the military, insisting on fighting a “limited” engagement; hobbles on the Border Patrol – can’t arrest drug smuggling illegals; and trying to promote peace in the middle east when hizb’ollah, al-queda, and islamofacists still exist.
It’s time to take the gloves off – tell Israel that we have her back, tell the in-theatre commander that he has full discretion to solve the problem short of nuclear solutions, and kick Mexico’s butt. Yes, I said Mexico. The National Guard could probably have a five mile DMZ arranged in about a week – that is, the first five miles south of the border. If anyone is seen in the area, they will be shot. We need to start protecting our sovereign borders. If Mexico doesn’t like it, tell them it’s time to get their act together and quit encouraging their citizens to funnel north. Any one coming into this country (through legal channels, of course) is held in quarantine (just like the good old days) until their background check comes back. Clean? Welcome to America. Not clean? Line ’em up and execute them for spies. I’ll bet that would slow the flow real quick. No, it’s not constitutional – but then, they arent’ under the protection the rest of us legal citizens are, now are they?
This really gets my blood boiling. Damn lefty’s won’t be happy until the entire southern border is one giant welcome mat for smugglers and other criminals.
I’m afraid you are correct, Gunny. The libs and Leftists are doing a fine job of selling this country up the river.

This really upsets me, too. I try to be fair-the Bible says to remember the foreigners because at one time, we were foreigners, too. HOWEVER, I get really upset at those that come in illegally and then scream the loudest for protection and their so-called “rights”. If you don’t walk across the border and abide by our check in policy-which is a joke anyway-then don’t get in my face about your rights because you have none. I have started confronting businesses (when I finally get a live person on the phone) about their “for English press 1” bit. I always tell them English is primary-we stay on the line. All other languages can press buttons. It’s starting to work. I called one place last week and it said “for English, please stay on the line”. Yea!!!
Oh, I hate it too, Mary, when you have to listen to a message in English, and also in Spanish. The only good thing is that if you spend enough time on “hold”, you can learn a whole new language!

Grassfire has shot a lot of emails at me lately, just shows how many problems exist today with this issue and ACLU ‘socialist’ temper-tantrums. I sign them all.

TL, you are correct. THey were doing their jobs, leave them alone – heck, give them medals for what they accomplished. Don’t prosecute them.
DS – I think that would have been a better resoloution, and I’m pretty sure there are a bunch of other agents out there taking notes…
