Gooooooood Morning!

September 21st, 2009 . by Cary

It’s amazing how much more rested you feel when you don’t drive a cab for thirty six hours, trying to do the last twelve on five hours of sleep and four hours of waiting in line, then getting two hours of sleep before going to a day full of church activities.

For those of you wanting to know – TMBWitW came through the procedure with no major issues, other than a continuing feeling of dizziness and pain that seem to want to stick around for the holidays. She is resting at home, in her own bed, and doing a lot of much-needed sleeping.

I’m off today – the owners of the Paper Plate Deli are driving back from Telluride today, after a much-deserved extended weekend away from work. I’m back on the clock first thing in the morning.

Remember, The O Word is back on the air on BlogTalkRadio starting this Friday at 0700 Mountain Standard Time.

How was your weekend?

Chat ya later…

Great news about TMBW! I know that’s a load off your mind too.
I spent the weekend at work, watching marginal weather come in, wishing I was flying.
Sometimes there are days like this.

Yes there is – very glad to hear about your daughter’s continued improvement, also.

it is a load off my mind, GB. I envy you and your flying – that’s a path I could never follow. If I do run into obscene amounts of money, I’m going to hire you as a private instructor, OK?

    “Loads of money”?
Well, it’s more than many can afford. But most who get their helo rating consider it one of the highlights of their life, after marriage and the birth of kids…
It has that kind of impact on your life.
And I’d be mighty proud to be your “private instructor” man, but we won’t be doing any flying when temps are above 110 degrees!

Yes, loads of money – one of us would have to relocate to a more temperate zone, the other of us would need to have lodging while teaching. That costs money. And the temperate zone would not include temps above 100 or much below 40…

I fly almost every day. Of course it’s only a Microsoft Flight Simulator FSX, but it is in my price range.
