In Memory of LeaAnn
October 2nd, 2009 . by CaryToday marks the one-year anniversary of the passing of my sister, LeaAnn. She battled breast cancer for twenty five years. We miss you, Beetle.
Chat ya later…
Thank you for stopping by, In GOD We Trust, God bless you all, don’t buy or breed cats or dogs while homeless pets die (spay, neuter & adopt a pet, one by one, until there are none), Wear Red on Fridays, and support Warriors for Innocence!
I can’t imagine. Gotta be hard, my friend. I hope you have happy memories to consider and make you smile.
She’s still alive so long as you have those memories.
My thoughts are with ya.
The whole family has nothing but happy memories about her. Her memorial service took several hours, from everyone who wanted to share things.
Thanks for the thoughts. I appreciate it.
Cary: I know how memories can be both sweet and bitter-sweet. I’ve lost several family members in the last few years, and their memories are important.
Thanks, Joe. I am sorry to hear of your losses, I pray that they knew the Lord before they left. I know LeaAnn did.
My most sincere condolences Cary at the loss of your precious sister a year ago today. Having been through a breast surgery a year ago Thanksgiving, I can only imagine the anxiety and fear you and your family went through for twenty five years. I do know she will be waiting for you in our heavenly home as God promised, for an eternity of joy.
This is Breast Cancer Awareness month so I may do a post in her honor.
God Bless you on this day of remembering. may your family be blest.
Thank you, HoosierArmyMom. I appreciate the thoughts.
I will hold you in prayer, also, as you go through your journey.
The family would be more than happy to have you do a post on LeaAnn. If you need any info, let me know.
Will do Cary. I’m recovering from a car accident in July, so I’m very slooooow. LOL!!! I just want to do a post to remind women to get their “self exams” and mammograms done. Adding a bit about your dear sister would be an honor.
Hey, you are a fellow PGR, so that makes you a brother! Thank you for your service Cary, my father was a Marine (WWII) so that makes it very special.
Hi…
Sorry to hear about your sister…one thing is certain, she is with God and free of pain; it happens to good people. They suffer for us sinners…
Actually, I got here from Texas Fred’s and thought I would send you the link to my response to the Mayor…here it is:

Oohrah, HoosierArmyMom. My dad was a Marine during the Korean Conflict (he never referred to it as a “war” – since it was never declared…)
Norm – thanks for stopping by, and thank you for the words. I know she knew Jesus as her savior, and I know she is sleeping peacefully waiting for the Lord’s return.
As for that liberal gun-grabbing Mayor, I am posting a piece in just a minute or two…
