Cab Friday
March 26th, 2010 . by CaryYesterday, a dump truck ran over a group of motorcyclists on Carefree Highway at 27th Ave. At least three riders were killed, and ten were sent to the hospital. Most of the riders were husband/wife teams, and the group was on an outing. Prayers for the families, if you could, and also for the truck driver who blew the stop sign…
I’ll be out driving a cab today. Please, be careful out there!
Chat ya later…

A Viet Nam buddy’s brother was killed on his Harley when he was rear-ended at a stop and crushed between two vehicles. It’s one of the reasons I quit riding when I did. The incident there made National news and I thought of you when I heard it.
Sorry the meet-up with Jessica didn’t happen. That would have been an interesting story.
At first, I thought it was a PGR ride, but then the location was not “right” for any of them that I had gotten word on. Then, TMBWitW called and told me about her co-worker’s boyfriend being one of the killed. The co-worker knew it as soon as she saw the bike on the news.
