Memorial Day 2007
May 28th, 2007 . by CaryIt’s not a time to urge people to get out and protest. It’s not a time to campaign. It’s not a time to try to belittle others.
Today should be a special time in the hearts and minds of all citizens of the United States. A time when their thoughts should turn to the meaning of a flag flown at half-staff. A time to consider the implications of a country that will not stand up for what it believes in, or what it was founded on.
In light of that, I wish you a safe Memorial Day.
Thank you for stopping by, God bless you all, and Wear Red on Fridays.
